Played with the full 52-card deck, 13 cards to each of four players. Every deal each player calls 5–8 tricks; take at least your call to score call × 10 (+1 per overtrick), fall short and you lose call × 10. First player to 300 total points wins the match.
All 52 — ranks 2 through Ace in the four suits, with 13 cards dealt to each player.

Each player calls 5, 6, 7 or 8 tricks, once per deal. Calling is mandatory — there is no pass.
Spades (♠) are always trump — nobody chooses a trump suit in Call Break.
You must play a spade if you have one, and if the trick already holds a spade you must beat it with a higher spade when able. Otherwise you may discard any card.
Call × 10 — a made call of 5 scores 50. Each overtrick adds +1; a missed call costs call × 10 (e.g. −60 for a missed call of 6).
When a player's cumulative score reaches 300 — the highest total at that point wins the match.
